You’ll gain the skills and confidence to step into entry-level care roles, with the support of local employers who are ready to meet and hire people like you.

During the Bootcamp, you’ll cover key topics such as:

  • Understanding the role of a care worker

  • Person-centred care and professional boundaries

  • Communication skills and working with others

  • Infection prevention and control

  • Health and safety in a care setting

  • Safeguarding adults and reporting concerns

  • Equality, dignity, and respect in care

  • Employability skills: CVs, interviews and workplace expectations

Built in Partnership with Local Employers

We work closely with a range of local care service employers — including care homes, domiciliary care providers, reablement teams, and supported living services.

Learners who complete the Bootcamp will receive a guaranteed interview with one of our trusted employer partners. For the right candidates, this often leads to real job offers and long-term employment within the adult social care sector.

Who Can Join This Skills Bootcamp

This free Skills Bootcamp is for those ready to start a career in adult social care.

You can apply if you:

  • Are 19 or over

  • Have the right to work in the UK and lived here for the past 3 years

  • Are unemployed, self-employed, or looking to change or progress your career

  • Are genuinely interested in care work

  • Are motivated, reliable, and keen to learn

  • Can commit to all sessions and follow-up activities

If you're employed and your employer is supporting your place, a small fee may apply. We’ll check your eligibility when you sign up.
